PeopleString Simplifies People Points

You may have noticed that your People Points balance looks lower than usual. This is because there is a new format for displaying the points. On the main page, only your current People Points are shown. The current points are those that you have earned since the last ad revenue payment. (Remember, PeopleString shares 70% of their ad revenue with their users!!)

Another new feature is the usage graph in the Tools section. You can see your PeopleString usage for the current month and compare it to prior months. Also available in the Tools section is your People Points lifetime total (your current points and your old points).

Just the FAQ

PeopleString has updated their Frequently Asked Questions section. It includes great information about privacy, payments, e-mail features, how the search/ad revenue is determined, and much more. Check it out and share it with your downline today!

Also, don't miss Jackie's new tech blog. There is a link on the right side of your PeopleString home page. She just announced that a new way of displaying People Points will be in effect as of June 1st. It should help make things less confusing in terms of old versus new points. The new format will be similar to how your dollar earnings are shown because it will categorize your points into Current People Points and Lifetime People Points. After you are paid search/ad revenue on your current points, they will be moved to Lifetime and your Current will zero out.

You Have to Play to Win

PeopleString has given us a new way to WIN People Points! By playing People Lotto, you now have an opportunity to win up to 1000 People Points every four hours! This is in addition to the free daily spin on the Prize Wheel and the 50 People Points that you can earn every six-hour period.

Just click on the People Lotto icon (pictured above) on your PeopleString main page. When you match three prizes, you will win that prize amount. After you “scratch off” your first ticket, you’ll see a countdown timer that shows how long you have to wait before you get your next ticket. It seems like every ticket is a winner; therefore, you just have to play to win!!

Guess Which Hand

PeopleString has added a new way to accumulate People Points. I purposely didn't use the word "earn" because this new feature is actually a game! The game is called "Guess Which Hand" and I must warn you in advance that it's very addictive! You simply place a bet of 10, 25, 35, or 50 People Points and try to guess which hand the quarter is in. If you win, you win the amount that you bet. If you lose, you lose the amount that you bet. It seems to me that the quarter can be found in his right hand more often than the left. ;o)
**Update: Guess Which Hand has changed. You can play once every half an hour for a chance to win 30 People Points. You no longer risk your own points when playing.

PeopleString also has a Prize Wheel. You get a free spin on the wheel when you first sign up and when you refer someone. I also received a spin on the wheel because of a cell phone/Facebook survey that I completed in the Mailbox-Cashbox section. The prizes on the wheel vary from 20 People Points to $100. **Update: You can now earn a daily spin!

Learning the Ropes

I received my "landing site" link today from my friend, Sam, who I signed up under on PeopleString! :oD Today, I learned the difference between People Dollars and People Points.

  • People Points don't have a set cash value. You earn them through doing various things and it helps to determine how active you are on the site. This is important for when they go to share the ad revenue with the PeopleString users. Remember, PeopleString shares 70% of their ad revenue with us!! Sam created a .pdf document about how to maximize your People Points. It explains five things that you can do to make 50 People Points every 12 hours. To summarize, you earn 10 People Points for completing each of the following tasks: log in, utilize the Google search bar, check your PeopleString e-mail, check the Mailbox-Cashbox section, and visit the Cash Back Shopping section. **Update: You can now do this every six-hour period!
  • People Dollars do have a set cash value. 100 People Dollars = $1.00. There are many things you can do to earn People Dollars, such as taking surveys, signing up for newsletters, and participating in free trial offers. **I set up a separate e-mail address and free voicemail account just for this purpose.
